Married to Kelley Aubut, two children: Sam, 21, and Kayla 19. Currently work for Dell financial services as an account executive selling payment solutions to states and local government (31 years at Dell/EMC).

Why did you decide to run for this office?
Pending vacancies provided me an opportunity to step in and serve my community.
What professional or volunteer experience will you bring to this role?
My personal and profession financial acumen will help in making sound financial decisions.
Please describe other activities you’ve been involved with in Mendon or elsewhere, including any other elected or appointed positions.
Many years coaching and executive positions with Mendon Upton Youth Soccer, Longtime Scouting Volunteer, two-term vice president of the Nipmuc Warriors Sports Booster club.

Commitment and a strong desire to help others.
How do you make decisions when there’s no perfect option?
Greatest good for the greatest number.
How should our parks and recreation spaces evolve over the next five to 10 years?
We should put a focus on addition fields and more community participation.
What types of programs or recreational opportunities should the town expand?
Pickleball, Disc Golf and walking trails.
How should the Parks Commission collaborate with other town entities and organizations?
Joint activities that are co-sponsored so multiple entities can draw on their members to help boost overall participation.
