About the Editors

Sharron and Martin Luttrell are longtime Mendon residents who share a background in local news reporting.

Their two children went through the Mendon Public School System, with their daughter graduating from Nipmuc and their son from Blackstone Valley Tech.

Sharron was a newspaper reporter, copyeditor and assignment editor during 12 years at the former Middlesex News. After leaving daily news when her children were young, Sharron freelanced for a variety of publications while holding positions as a writer/editor at Boston College, then for the work-life division of Ceridian. She is currently employed as a writer/editor on a federal contract supporting quality-of-life programs and initiatives for the U.S. military. She is the author of the book Weekends With Daisy (Simon & Schuster).

Sharron has served on the Mendon Cultural Council, the Mendon-Upton Education Foundation and the Taft Public Library Board of Trustees.

Martin is an Air Force veteran who worked 30 years as a news reporter, bureau chief and editor for the Middlesex News and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, where he also covered business. He spent the last 10 years of his career as a PR associate and an internal communications manager at Worcester Polytechnical Institute.
