The Mendon-Upton schools are seeking volunteers to share their careers and interests with students at Inspired Learning Day, June 4.
The annual event engages students in learning experiences that connect with skills and occupations in the following student-interest areas.
Volunteers will partner with educators to provide inspiration and real-world perspective in one or more of the following ways:
- Roadmap Q&A: Join a classroom (in-person or virtually) for a brief, high-energy Q&A or career talk (15-20 minutes).
- Solution Seeker Mentor: Work with a small group of students on a preplanned, hands-on activity.
- Beyond the Walls: Showcase your world by welcoming a small student group for a workplace tour or a job shadowing experience.
- Co-Designer: Partner with a MURSD educator to co-facilitate or lead a single, interactive Inspired Learning Day session.
- Journey Story: Share other ways to connect your unique career journey or personal passion with student experiences.
The schools are asking potential volunteers to complete this 1-minute form by Friday, April 10.
